Lockyer’s Gorge is part of the drowned country under the waters of Lake Poongkaliyarra and the Harding Dam. Illustrated with archival photos from the Juluwarlu Archives to memorialise what was lost, this book also commemorates those who fought to preserve their country, and to celebrate the country and culture that they saved. Published in full colour with hundreds of photographs and maps detailing all the sites both existing and lost. Also included is a fold-out A3 size map detailing the beautiful country that can still be visited today.
